What to Expect at Your Pet’s Dental Appointment:

Morning drop-off between 7:10 and 7:45 am.
Blood drawn for pre-anesthetic tests using our state-of-the-art IDEXX in-house machines.
Doctor’s comprehensive physical examination to determine the procedure order, considering age and medical history.
Administration of pre-procedure sedation.
Placement of the IV catheter.
Notification to owner about the start of the procedure, with an update expected in 45-60 minutes.
Induction and intubation of the patient by the doctor or a licensed veterinary technician (LVT).
Full mouth dental X-rays.
Dental scaling and polishing.
Detailed oral examination by the doctor.
Consultation call with the owner about recommended extractions and associated costs (under strict technician monitoring).
Extractions performed, if approved by the owner.
Administration of an anti-inflammatory injection (based on medical history/medications).
Nail trimming during recovery.
Update call to the owner post-procedure with discharge time.
Post-procedure potty walk.
IV catheter removal.
Detailed discharge appointment with a technician covering feeding instructions, diet changes, and home medications.

We utilize high-quality medications (e.g., Nocita, Methadone) to ensure patient comfort and prompt post-procedure recovery.
